Architecture for Humanity New York is holding a “Day of Impact” on October 25th, where volunteers will be working on one-day service projects throughout New York City to provide positive impacts in areas of need. Our sites are located through the city including: Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn.

Volunteers Needed: Red Hook School Gardens – Planting

In 2013 Architecture for Humanity New York worked with PS 15, The Patrick F. Daly School on the reconstruction of their educational garden which was impacted during Hurricane Sandy.

On Saturday, May 24th from 9:00am – 12:00pm AFHny will be working on removing dead plants, spreading mulch, soil, and building new raised planting beds. This will be a day of planting so please come prepared wearing attire suitable for gardening and yard work. If available please bring your own pair of working gloves
