About the Design Fellowship program

"You go through the process and at some point you start earning each other's respect. It's very rewarding." - Purnima McCutcheon, Design Fellow.

Architecture for Humanity offers unique opportunities for a design fellowship. Opportunities, when available, vary from project to project and fellows are matched to projects according to their skills. These positions usually last from six months to a year depending on the project. Design fellows volunteer their time, and have their travel and accommodation costs covered. In some cases, fellows receive a stipend. These opportunities will be posted on the job opportunities as they become available.
